Halfway through October
Soooo...Had a busy last couple of weeks. the First picture is me and a friend from Cache County's Gardener's market on Oct 1st. I was using some liquid bling to bring out the black on both of our faces...it's a fun addition. The pumpkin face is from the last Market of the season, and there were a lot of kids in costume. this kid had a cute pumpkin on his shirt, and was just thrilled with his pumpkin face. the last picture is from the "What a Witch Wants" event in downtown Logan. Figured what better to commemorate the event with then a Witch.

August and September
Why am I grouping 2 months together? well on August 10th my camera had a tragic accedent and landed on it's lense, causeing the zoom mechanism to break. for weeks I looked at new cameras, but all the new variations of similar cameras didn't seem to have the same wonderful features I enjoyed about my camera, so I finally got my trusty old camera fixed at a repair shop out of town. After all it's been through, i have named my camera "Eeyore" mostly because of it's color. So...here's one from August....this girl loves purple and at this particular farmers market she got the lips fish. The other picture is from a tailgate event in Sept. for CSU when they came to town to play the Aggies. Great Game Faces!!!

May catch-up
Ok, playing catch-up. May is when Farmers market starts up. Did a cool little hulk on a bright May morning.
the other picture is my youngest daughter , who loves to be painted. Her hair is a bit short because the week before her brother thought she needed a haircut.

April 2nd's event
So, got a last minute gig down at Snowbird, with another facepainter. It was a relaxed party, and the Kids were very creative, however the creativity didn't come out til later. They all started off by getting the snowbird logo. Later those were washed off as they got a variety Sesame St. characters like big bird, cookie monster, elmo, oscar, etc.(new designs for us) then we got asked for other characters. then they started asking for more unusual things...a melting ice cream cone, eeyore, a spirit world avatar...and just some other fun and crazy stuff...some came out pretty good too. too much to share, but I thought I'd share a couple of the guys this time...

Febuary 2011 highlights
Like I mentioned in my last post, I'm a bit behind, so this is catch up. Did some fun events and parties, so here are the photo Highlights. The giraffe is what the birthday girl wanted...originally was going to be a full face cheeta, but she just loved the giraffe. The Snake was a very popular design in febuary. One of my febuary partys was almost entirely tigers and snakes, Unfortunatyl my Camera ran out of juice at that party, so this snake was from the giraffe party.
Funny story: The part where the birthday girl was the racoon, everybody decided they wanted fangs at the end to every design including the racoon. They claimed they were all vampire racoon/snake/colored tigers. I literally Painted 12-14 tigers, 4 snakes, a racoon and a couple flowers. the tigers were blue and pick and purple and orange...etc...I really had wished I had a full camera for that event.
Later in Febuary I took a trip for my March 10 yr. anniversary. We saw the very last Launch of the space shuttle discovery, as well as went to see world and swam with dolphins at Discovery Cove. What does it have to do with facepainting? not much, though I did paint myself most days, but it's fun, and I thought I would include it to add variety to my Blog!
